FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Does my master need to bring my food?                                                                          

We highly recommend your master bring your food for you.  That way you will stay on your normal diet and it will be easier on your tummy.  You don’t need the extra stress on your tummy from the change of food.  There is an extra charge if Kritter Kastle provides the food for you.

Do I need my food bowls?             

You do not need to bring your bowls.  I have all stainless steel bowls that I use.

What about my bed & blanket?  I can’t sleep without my bed & blanket.  Can I bring them?

Yes you can.  I do have blankets you can use if you don’t want to bring yours.  The cat cages have shelves that I put wool covers on that you may like lying on.

Do you have toys for me to play with?

I have a cat tower that has different landings, toys hanging, a ring hanging, & a cubbyhole for you to hide in. Your master can bring other toys for you to play with if they would like.

Are there going to be other cats there also?

We have room for 6 cats.  You will have your own cage and let out occasionally during the day to roam the room, exercise, & play.  If you are the only cat being boarded, then you will have the whole room to yourself and you will not be put in the cage at all.

I like to lie in the window when the sun is shining.  Can I do that at Kritter Kastle?         

Kritter Kastle has a special cat room that has a south window and a west window.  If Mother Nature allows it you will have sunshine to lie in most of the day.  The windowsills are about 12 inches deep for you to lie on.

Are you going to put me in a cage and leave me alone all day?

No way!  I am going to spend time with you and play with you as much as I can.  You are here to be treated like a King or Queen.

Do I have to go see my Veterinarian before I can come stay at Kritter Kastle?

Only if your shots are not up to date.  All cats need to have all their shots up to date before they can stay at Kritter Kastle.  Cats need Rabies, FVRCP, & Feline Leukemia.

What about the medications I take?

That’s not a problem.  We will give you your medication on the same schedule your master gives them to you.  The only medication we will not do is an injection directly into your vein.  There is no extra charge for administering medications.

Can I get a bath & haircut while I am there?

Yes you can.  We have a full-time groomer on-site every day.  There is an additional charge for grooming. 

Where are you located?  Is it easy for my masters to find?

We are located at W9678 Hwy 23, Rosendale WI  54974.  We are 9 miles west of Fond du Lac, between Eldorado & Rosendale, on the south side of the road.  Or we are 1 ½ mile east of Rosendale. Check out the link on our home page.
