2 dogs staying in the same kennel: 1st dog is full price, 2nd dog or more is 1/2 price.

If pets are picked up before noon, that day is 1/2 price.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Does my master need to bring my food?           

We highly recommend your master bring your food with you.  That way you will stay on your normal diet and it will be easier on your tummy.  You don’t need the extra stress on your tummy from the change of food. 

Do I need my food bowls?

You do not need to bring your bowls.  I have all stainless steel bowls that I use.

What about my bed & blanket?   I can’t sleep without my bed & blanket.  Can I bring them?

Yes you can.  I do have blankets you can use if you don’t want to bring yours.

I’m a pretty big dog.  Are you going to put me in a little tiny crate?                   

Absolutely not.  We have 3 sizes of kennels (not crates).  I offer 4’x 4’, 4’x 6’, & 4’x 8’ kennels.  Whatever size your master determines is appropriate for you is the size you will stay in.  

Are you going to put me in a kennel and leave me alone all day?                             

No way!  I am going to spend time with you outside and play with you as much as I can.  You’re here to have fun and be treated like a King or Queen.

Do you have toys for me to play with?

I have tennis balls to play catch with.  Your master can pack your toys and bring them along.  We will be spending time outside and I will play catch or fetch with you.  

I like to run outside.  Are you going to take me outside while I am there?

Yes, you will go outside 5-6 times a day or more.  We have a 30' x 75' fenced in area for you to run around in.

Is there going to be other dogs outside with me?       

We do not run dogs in groups. Each dog goes outside individually, that way we can spend one-on-one time with you. The only other dogs you would be free to run around with is your brother or sister.

Do I have to go see my Veterinarian before I can come stay at Kritter Kastle?

Only if your shots are not up to date.  All dogs need to have all their shots up to date before they can stay at Kritter Kastle.  We will need proof from your vet that Rabies, DHLPP and Bordetella (kennel cough) are all current.

What about the medications I take?

Medications are not a problem.  We will give you your medication on the same schedule your master gives them to you.  The only medication we will not do is an injection directly into your vein.  There is no extra charge for administering medications.

Where are you located?  Is it easy for my masters to find?

We are located at W9678 State Road 23, Rosendale WI  54974.  We are 9 miles west of Fond du Lac, between Eldorado & Rosendale, on the south side of the road.  Or we are 1 ½ mile east of Rosendale.

Can I come to Kritter Kastle just for the day?

If you are dropped off and picked up the same day during open hours it is considered Day Care.

Day Care is $10.00 per day.

Can I get a bath & haircut while I am there?         

Yes you can.  Have your master arrange the bath and hair cut when they schedule your boarding.  There is an additional charge for grooming.
